Eugene Holzer, Managing Partner

Eugene Holzer is a CPA, MBA with many years of accounting, financial and staffing industry expertise. Gene has worked for two international staffing firms, most recently as a Practice Director of Palm Beach County, Florida. Gene’s tenure in staffing has included starting up and managing a multi-million dollar consulting division in Miami, which specialized in the placement of finance and accounting professionals. Prior to joining the staffing industry, Gene was a Management Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM. His specialty included identifying cost savings, process, and financial system improvements for CFO’s of multinational organizations, both domestically and abroad. Some of those clients included General Electric, American Express, Bank of Montreal, and XL Capital. Before becoming a management consultant, Gene worked at Merrill Lynch as a financial analyst and as an auditor for a CPA firm in New York. Gene’s accounting and financial background combined with his staffing experience, allows him to effectively understand candidates’ skills and clients’ needs. Gene graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from SUNY Albany, and earned a Masters in Business Administration from New York University, Stern School of Business.

Gustavo Pena, Managing Partner

Gustavo Pena is a JD, MBA, CAMS, with extensive expertise in the areas of human resources, recruiting, management and international business development. For the past 15 years, Gustavo has advised, and counseled CEOs, CFOs, Compliance Officers, Elected Public Officials and Entrepreneurs as an attorney and compliance professional both in the United States and throughout Latin America. Gustavo has professional experience as a business and human resources consultant for major companies in the U.S. and Latin America as well as vast legal experience as an international attorney specializing in communications, strategic planning, foreign investments, public affairs, commercial & tax law. Gustavo has had leading roles in the public and private sectors including the direction of a consulting team at American Express Bank in the Implementation, review, and enforcement of Written Supervisory Procedures to ensure they meet FINRA and SEC standards, and are effective in detecting money laundering activities; creating the debt bonds auction system for the Ministry of Finance in Venezuela; assisting with establishing the strategic special taxpayer division for the Venezuelan IRS in addition to working on business strategies for leading telecom and media organizations throughout Latin America.

Gustavo graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Law, has a Masters in Financial Law from Universidad Católica "Andres Bello" in Venezuela, earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Babson College (Olin) and is a certified anti-money laundering specialist (CAMS).
